How to use it
Sit down with the person who runs your platform day to day. Tick an item only if the honest answer is yes — “sort of” counts as no. Your score updates as you go.
The checklist covers the same six areas we look at in a Platform Assessment: cost, performance, security, reliability, governance and architecture.

What your score means
20 to 24: in good shape. Run through this again every quarter so it stays that way.
12 to 19: some real gaps. Start with the unticked items that carry the most risk — usually security and reliability.
Under 12: time for a proper look. The problems are probably connected, so fixing them one at a time will be slow.
